Winter Park's
annual Winter Carnival gets even more fun and festive this year, with
the addition of a 2-day dog-sledding race, new family activities and
the celebration of Winter Park Resort's 70th Anniversary!
Mark your calendar for January 22 - 24. More than 55 dog sled teams
are expected to compete over the weekend in exciting race formats
from 9 am - 1 pm each day. Spectators are welcome and will have lots
of activities to choose from, including a snowshoe walk, dog agility
shows, and hot chocolate and s'mores in front of a roaring bon
fire. Downtown Winter Park will celebrate with a parade down Main
Street on Saturday, fireworks, sledding and lots of family activities.
At the ski resort, the party will include free bump tips, snow sculpture
contest, live music, a giant birthday cake and lots more. Get all
