2. Since 1962, Vail has become the largest single mountain ski resort in North America, offering guests 34 total ski lifts, 14 of which are high-speed. Guests may experience the mountain in several distinct settings-the Front Side, the Back Bowls, the Game Creek and China Bowls, and the Blue Sky Basin.

3. Vail Mountain is designed for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels. Of 193 total trails, 18% are beginner friendly, 29% are geared towards intermediate skiers, and 53% are designated as advanced/expert trails.

5. With a vertical rise of 3,450 feet, the altitude at Vail's summit is 11, 570 feet.

8. Ever wonder what makes Vail customer service so superior? Already in its 12th year, the employee customer service program Turn It Up! is the longest running program of its kind in the United States.

9. As a service to its visitors, the Vail Transportation Center offers Free Parking after 3 pm. in the winter. Go ahead and enjoy après-ski fun!

10. Vail Colorado is considered to be North America's premier resort community.
