Leadville - Victorian Days Weekend December 2008
Victorian homes on display, Victorian costumes, Surrey rides and dinner. Parade of Lights 5:30 pm, followed by caroling, tree lighting and Santa at the courthouse.

Leadville -  "The Complete History of America (abridged)" written by Adam Long, Reed Martin, & Austin Tickenor. There will be two performances: Saturday Dec. 6th at 7pm and Sunday Dec 7th, at 2 pm.  Dinner will be available at both performances and a cash bar will be available for the evening performance on the 6th. National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum's Convention Center, located on 10th street, behind the museum.

Steamboat - 35th Annual Bud Light Cowboy Downhill January 20 - It all began 35years ago when Billy Kidd, Steamboat's Director of Skiing, and Larry Mahan, six-time All-Around World Champion cowboy, decided to invite a few of the ProRodeo stars to Steamboat for a day of skiing. The cowboys had such a great time that the Downhill has become the most popular event of the season with around 100 of the best professional rodeo cowboys competing in the most unique ski rodeo in the country. Sponsored by Bud Light, the Cowboy Downhill is always scheduled to coincide with the National Western Stock Show in Denver.
