SKIING AT STEAMBOAT

THE MOUNTAIN: Steamboat is one of North America's largest mountains with 165 trails, 3,668 vertical feet, and nearly 3,000 skiable acres, including six peaks filled with world-class groomed cruisers, bumps, steeps, open meadows, legendary tree skiing, Mavericks Superpipe and terrain parks.

Steamboat is accessible by nonstop air service from nine major U.S. cities on American, Continental, Delta, Northwest and United Airlines in addition to convenient connecting service from more than 150 other domestic and international cities. All service is direct into the renovated Steamboat/Hayden Airport (HDN).

Steamboat Unbridled represents a renaissance to the mountain (nearly $30 million since 2006/07), mountain village, lodging properties, retail and dining establishments, as well as a transformed Steamboat/Hayden airport hat holds true to the heart and soul of Ski Town, U.S.A. Nearly $1 billion dollars is anticipated to be spent on Steamboat Unbridled now and in the coming years.

The heart and soul of Steamboat will remain deeply rooted in a real town, with a century long tradition of welcoming people to the wide open, snow filled Yampa Valley. Steamboat Unbridled doesn't change history or culture; it just takes the best, adds to it and produces something that, we believe, is just short of heavenly.

EXPERIENCING THE WEST

THE TOWN: Seven thousand feet up in the Colorado Rockies, below one of the largest ski mountains in North America, sits a small ranching community that serves as a constant reminder that the Old West is alive and well. Never far from its ranching roots, Steamboat remains firmly linked to a Western tradition that sets it apart from every other ski resort in the world.

Steamboat Springs' friendly locals give the town its famous Western charm. Steamboat boasts a rich history and small town feel, but with all the modern amenities, including shopping, dining and lodging to fit every need. With more than 100 bars and restaurants, guests will find a variety of ways to satisfy their cravings. Lodging options range from hotels and condominiums with outdoor pools to quaint, rustic cabins located off the beaten path.
