Bud Light Big Air Fridays

Don't miss this skier and snowboarder big-air contest on Fanny Hill at the base of Snowmass. The contest runs over eight Fridays in the winter from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by live music on the Snowmass Village Mall and fireworks over Fanny Hill.

Colorado Freeride Championships
February 27 - March 1, 2009
Big-mountain skiers and riders put it all on the line in judged runs down the cliff-littered steeps of Snowmass. Each year, the Freeride Championships draw a complete field of top athletes and amateurs from around the globe. Watch the action from the base of the Hanging Valley Headwall or from Gwyn's High Alpine.

Mardi Gras Celebration

Snowmass throws the biggest Mardi Gras party in the mountains celebrating 27 years of Fat Tuesdays. Revelry includes a parade, a popular bead toss, costume contests, mask-making, King Cake, crawdad boils, Mother of All Ascensions uphill snowshoe race and more.

St. Paddy's Day Celebration March 17, 2009
Ski "green" runs with adults' and kids' scavenger hunts, dance a jig to traditional Irish music and rock and toast authentic green beer. Festivities start early on the mountain - stay late for continued revelry throughout the village.
