1) Gunnison County is nearly 2 million acres with 85% being public lands. It is also home to Curecanti National Recreation Area and Blue Mesa Reservoir, Colorado’s largest body of water with 92 miles of shoreline.

2) Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is open year-round and located only one hour from the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport.

3) Crested Butte was designated a Registered National Historic District in 1972 (numerous blocks) and is the “Official Wildflower Capital of Colorado.”
